These mirror brackets are intended to replace the flat base plates with binding screws placed behind Caterham and SPA side mirrors, allowing the mirror to be quickly unscrewed and re-adjusted at anytime without accidentally unscrewing the base plate.
Generally, tools are unnecessary for tightening the 19mm screw nut, just make sure to tighten carefully so you can still easily loosen by hand during future adjustments
